Renovation plans for The Hippodrome Theater began in early 2002. SM+P was contracted by The Maryland Stadium Authority in the spring of 2002 to serve as the Construction Phase Architect of Record. Hitting the ground running, we contracted with many of the original Design Team Consultants and added several more to create a team committed to rapid response in support of this city-block historic tax-credit of a memory- and emotion-filled crown jewel of Baltimore.
