This project resurrected an original and un-built clubhouse design that was developed by the firm Thomas, Parker and Rice at the founding of Gibson Island. Throughout a process of investigation and commentary, SM+P tested those nearly century-old plans against the modern requirements for the clubhouse. The resulting concept maintained the spirit of the original design while creating a building that provides the functions needed by the current membership.
